Neck Pain

Like low back pain, neck pain affects most of use at some point in our lives and is often accompanied with a restriction to range of movement. It can also be associated with pain in one of the arms, headaches and also you may experience pins and needles and/or numbness. A physiotherapy assessment can identify if there are other causes, such as vascular problems, shoulder etc and then formulate an individualised rehab plan for and earlier return to work, sport or leisure activities.

Whiplash Associated Disorder

Whiplash Associated Disorder (WAD) is a result of sudden movement to the head and body, most commonly following a collision whilst in a vehicle. Common symptoms are pain, loss of range of movement, sensory disturbance such as numbness and pins and needles and headaches. Serious damage is rare but the pain and symptoms can often be quite disabling. Physiotherapy will show you it is safe to move your neck and restore confidence in performing work and activities of daily living.
